Medium green, lustrous gemmy cubes of fluorite from this obscure mine in Mongolia. Not to be confused with the material from Inner Mongolia which is actually in China. This locality is in the northern part of the Gobi desert.

A magnificent, frosted mint green bipyramidal octahedron of fluorite on a matrix of white quartz (it looks as there is a sharp phantom within the fluorite caused by the triangular quartz matrix also) with smaller cubes at the base. Competition quality fluorite!

Light purple grey, intergrown bi-pyramidal octahedrons of fluorite with a dull luster, on matrix. Old German classic.

A clear and blocky fluorite cube sits on a matrix of milky off-white quartz crystals. The fluorite does have some chipping on some of the corners, but it is glassy and displays very well. Nothing coming out of here these days.

Lustrous and gemmy, medium purple cubes of fluorite with beveled edges on a matrix of off white tiny quartz crystals. This particular pocket was found in 1993 and is noted for the magnificent overall quality and perfection of the crystals. Oustanding example of the find!

Pastel yellow cubes of fluorite sit on a hematite included reddish drusy quartz matrix. Great contrast. Not much is known about this mine. other than minor info on Mindat.

Bright green, bipyramidal octahedrons of fluorite sprinkled with sugary white micro quartz crystals are intermixed with a clear, tabular calcite crystal. The specimen has no damage and displays superbly!

A wonderfully zoned cubed crystal of fluorite with purple edges and a yellow center hosts a pair of very lustrous sphalerite groups.
