Light purple grey, intergrown bi-pyramidal octahedrons of fluorite with a dull luster, on matrix. Old German classic.
Light green transparent cubes of fluorite (with beveled and plain sharp edges) to 3 cm sit on a matrix of molten skeletal galena crystals, on a matrix of galena, sphalerite and chalcopyrite, which also occurs as inclusions within the fluorite. Fabulous specimen.
Transparent pastel green cubes of fluorite are nestled in a nest of clear stubby quartz crystals. No attachment points.
Lustrous and gemmy, medium purple cubes of fluorite with beveled edges on a matrix of off white tiny quartz crystals. This particular pocket was found in 1993 and is noted for the magnificent overall quality and perfection of the crystals. Oustanding example of the find!
A complete sphere of yellow-amber fluorite measuring 3.4 cm sits on a matrix of white quartz crystals that coat basalt. This is the first occurrence of cryptocrystalline spherical fluorite in the Deccan traps of India, discovered in 1998. In excellent condition and a highly aesthetic example of this very rare form of fluorite.
Light bluish purple, gemmy cubes of fluorite are sprinkled with off white botryoidal aggregates of aragonite. No telling when these were mined, but they came on the market in 2014.
Bright green, bipyramidal octahedrons of fluorite sprinkled with sugary white micro quartz crystals are intermixed with a clear, tabular calcite crystal. The specimen has no damage and displays superbly!
Medium purple, gemmy cubes of fluorite associated with quartz crystals and barite. Some incomplete crystals that are not really noticeable. Overall a very displayable and pretty specimen!
A very unusual galena specimen consisting of two plates (one straight, one curved…yes curved!) acting as hosts for tiny galena cubes that resemble a miniature city seen from above. These are sprinkled with tiny sphalerite crystals. The rear consists of off white calcite prisms and tiny quartz crystals. Bizarre and beautiful!
A reddish complete dodecahedron of grossular sits on an olive green partial vesuvianite crystal, with another smaller grossular on one side. Wonderful crystal with very minor contact and terrific aethetics. Acquired from Beau Gordon in 1994.
