Deep purple bi-pyramidal octahedrons of fluorite on a matrix with calcite, quartz and minor pyrite. This old timer (with a sawn back)was acquired in 1982,and has the much rarer purple color. I also hear that Naica is now closed and completely flodded.

A stunning clear fluorite with frosty etched faces and hints of pink and green running thru the crystal, associated with silvery crystals of mica. This fluorite appears to glow when close to a light source and the pastel colors can be seen clearly at this time. Undamaged and exceptional!

A stunning group of deep green, penetrating twins of faceting grade fluorite are sprinkled with gemmy and glistening quartz crystals. Sorry, but the photo does not do the specimen justice. Superb miniature!

Very gemmy hexoctahedral crystals of light lavender fluorite with clear faces and modified edges are associated with tiny quartz crystals, discoidal calcites and minor sprays and micro crystals of murdochite. Beautiful fluorite specimen with an AL Mc Guiness label!.
Location: Blanchard Mine, Harrisonburg Dist., Socorro Co., New Mexico
Dimensions: 6.7 x 4 x 2cm
Greenish purple bipyramidal octahedrons of fluorite associated with a very sharp wolframite crystal. An unusual floater (crystallizezd on all sides), since the common association at this locality is smoky quartz. Another interesting thing is that one of the faces on the main fluorite is completely smooth, unlike the others that have the stepped growth. Very strange!!!!!
Location: Kara Oba, Karaganda Oblast, Kazakhstan

Very sharp, jet black octahedrons of franklinite on a white calcite matrix with olive brown crystals of willemite. The willemite fluoresces bright green. Excellent old timer from Jersey.
