Extremely sharp and deep lustrous red, gemmy scalenohedral crystals of rhodochrosite on a bit of matrix. Most of the crystals have a basal termination and only one on the edge is not perfect. A great TN!

A druse of light pink rhodochrosite coats a group of very sharp calcite prisms that are associated with equally sharp quartz crystals, on a sulfide matrix. Probably mined in the late eighties or early nineties.
