Micro crystals of sugilite liberally covering both sides of the matrix. Ones side is also sprinkled with tabular clear apophyllite crystals and groups and single crystals of the very rare mineral ruizite. The ruizite is plentiful and runs thought the specimen but is heavily concentrated around the apophyllites.

A single, very lustrous and gemmy crystal of topaz with an orange to sherry color that this locality is known for. It has been repaired, which is common with the larger crystals sometimes. The termination and form are textbook, the luster is great and the color is fabulous.

A wonderful specimen of textbook, clear topaz crystals to 4.2 cm sit on a matrix of white albite blades and minor quartz. All over the matrix there are doubly terminated orange childrenite crystals averaging 5 MM. The topaz is so clear you can see the matrix underneath, and the specimen is in exceptional condition.

A gem quality very pale blue terminated topaz crystal associated with iron stained quartz crystals and a smaller topaz. Two things of note. These are sometimes called silver topaz…and it is rare to find them with associations or on matrix. Choice crystal!

Super bypiramidal tan crystals of wardite to 9 MM associated with a fan of esophorite crystals and 2 MM groups of zanazziite crystals ( a very rare calcium iron magnesium berylium phosphate), all on a matrix of large deep rose quartz crystals that are sprinkled by a secondary druse of quartz. A spectacular old timer from Taquaral.
