Ruby-jack colored lustrous sphalerite crystals forming spherical aggregates that sit on a matrix of sparkling marcasite. Mined in 2015-16, these were held back by a local miner, released in Sept. and made their way to us. They were written up and photographed for the “What’s New Report” of the Min. Rec.

A single, very lustrous and gemmy crystal of topaz with an orange to sherry color that this locality is known for. It has been repaired, which is common with the larger crystals sometimes. The termination and form are textbook, the luster is great and the color is fabulous.

A wonderful specimen of textbook, clear topaz crystals to 4.2 cm sit on a matrix of white albite blades and minor quartz. All over the matrix there are doubly terminated orange childrenite crystals averaging 5 MM. The topaz is so clear you can see the matrix underneath, and the specimen is in exceptional condition.
