Brassy golden dodecahedrons of pyrite that appear to have layers on the surface of the crystals. These sit on a matrix of clear calcite prisms. Wonderful to find a Chinese pyrite with no damage.

Bright and golden, striated pyrite crystals sit on a matrix of lustrous jet black sphalerite crystals. The rear also shows some nice (but smaller) pyrites coating the matrix. Very fine old timer from this historical Colorado locality.
