A near floater specimen of gwindle (twisted) quartz with a coating of chlorite on the surface of the crystals, giving it that medium green color. There are several clear faces on the crystals that show the interior is water clear.

Deep purple bi-pyramidal octahedrons of fluorite on a matrix with calcite, quartz and minor pyrite. This old timer (with a sawn back)was acquired in 1982,and has the much rarer purple color. I also hear that Naica is now closed and completely flodded.

Pearly dolomite crystals have completely replaced tarnowitzite crystals (the plumbian variety of aragonite) and are dotted by hexagonal cuprite crystals and tiny yellow mimetites, (most of them at the base of the specimen).
