A spectacular group of very lustrous, deep blue azurite crystals with minor malachite. This pocket was 15 by 10 meters (but very narrow) and the specimens were attached to the wall by fibrous malachite, that’s why they resemble “floaters”. The mine owners cemented the pocket entrance with three trucks of concrete, but some had been collected prior to that and I was very lucky (being near the source) to have my pick of the best miniatures and TNS. Nothing of any significance has been found since the summer of 2013. As commonly seen with azurite, the photos do not do the specimens justice.
