A bi colored group of very sharp, chiseled crystals of adamite. Apparently the cobalt (or manganese as it's been suggested lately) only affected some of the crystals, thereby creating a yellow and purple specimen. A killer TN!

Very sharp and lustrous, dark tan crystals of adamite with yellow tips on a limonitic matrix sprinkled with clear calcites. Not sure what is causing the color variation, perhaps iron or manganese. Pretty and very different from the usual lemon yellow adamites.

5126.  Analcime on Natrolite   Mt. St. Hilaire, Quebec, Canada (6.5x5.6x4 cm)

A large and well defined, composite crystal (trapezohedron) of analcime with a white to dirty grey (from aegerine mostly) color sits on a matrix of stocky natrolite crystals. An important large crystal of this zeolite from this world reknown locality!
