5111.  Azurite (ex Robison Coll.)   Mineral Hill Mine, Kennedy Co., New So. Wales, Australia (5.8x4.5x3.2 cm)

From this remote gold/copper mine comes this specimen of highly lustrous, deep blue, very distinct and perfect crystals of azurite coating an earthy limonitic matrix. As you can see, one side has generous coverage and the other has crystals in a more scattered pattern which allows for greater crystal definiton. Great color on this one.

5128.  Barite   Herja Mine, Baia Mare, Maramures, Romania (7.8x3.5x3 cm)

A group of medium blue arboreal crystals of barite that seem to emmanate from a central point in the center of the specimen. Lustrous and beautiful, these specimens were abundant in the mid 90's and virtually dissapeared from the market, way before the mine closed. First one I've been able to offer for sale in years.
